I must devote my time to packing up the house.
3. CR rants/raves/comments: I don't really have any since I am pouting.
4. NCR rants/raves/comments: The home inspection went pretty well. There are some things that need to be fixed (but we knew there would be). We are going to push back on the bank to see if they will pay/fix some of the things, but since it is a foreclosure, we aren't sure how they will respond.
I have 2 weeks of summer vacation left

2. WIP/In the queue: I'm working on burp clothes for the 3 ladies I know who are about to have babies.
3. CR rants/raves/comments: Nothing.
4. NCR rants/raves/comments: DH comes home from working overnights at 7. It's been our long standing routine for him to take the dog out/feed her when he gets home. Today, even though I'm still sleeping, he gets into bed and then tells me he's tired and is going to nap until we leave for our day trip. The dog is dancing in circles telling me she has to go. So even though I'm supposed to be enjoying my first real day of vacation by sleeping in (I've been teaching summer school), I get up early to take the dog out. He needs to learn that you don't mess with a pregnant lady and her sleep.

2. WIP/In the queue I started a cardigan this week that is going by super fast. At this rate, I might be able to show it to you at the next check-in!
3. CR rants/raves/comments I have a finished scarf/shawl that's begging to be blocked out, but I am being very lazy. Just can't get the motivation!
4. NCR rants/raves/comments Maybe I'll find the motivation to do the above today. I'm taking the day off because it's m birthday today, yay!

2. WIP/In the queue - finished cutting squares for the LSU quilt I'm working on! I also bought material to make a maxi dress for myself...first time sewing jersey..eek!
3. CR rants/raves/comments - I hate how the top companies write patterns. Why can't they be as well written as the ones that I buy on Etsy or see on blogs are?
4. NCR rants/raves/comments - Gosh, we want to move so badly. Actually have been trying to move to Houston for 2 years now and everyone wants to hire locals. :-( So frustrating.

1. Finished I haven't finished but I have gotten a great start on my pregnancy scrapbook. You can see pictures in my blog.

2. WIP/In the queue: Still plodding away on Seascape stole. Lovely but slow for me, especially since it's ridiculously hot here. If I ever finish that, I'm hoping it will be cool enough to start my Shalom. (Bulky yarn + 90 degrees? Eeek.)
3. CR rants/raves/comments: I found some cute sock yarn on clearance at Jo-Ann's. They had tons and tons of stuff for 97 cents, but it was all gone when I got there. So sad. Mine is a yellow/green colorway that should make a fun shawl or scarf (because I need more...).
4. NCR rants/raves/comments: We're having our ducts cleaned. When we bought the house last year, our inspector said the ducts were unusually dusty and worth cleaning, so we finally got around to it. Interesting process.

2. WIP/In the queue: T-shirt quilt
3. CR rants/raves/comments: This freaking t-shirt quilt. My sister has probably 100 shirts she could have picked, but she picked 3 that were bigger than the 12 x 12 blocks she wanted. So these stupid pieces look dumb with the sashing. The look wrong and awkward and I hate it. I am a very symmetrical person and I just feel like the top looks awful, which is making me not want to work on it.

1. Finished: All of the blocks for my metro quilt.
2. WIP/In the queue: Stitching all of this together into a quilt top. Then, a break while I wait for embroidery to come back.3. CR rants/raves/comments: I never thought I'd finish these blocks- hurrah!
Also, I bought myself snips, but I kind of hate them. Maybe because they are cheap ish? They're the only ones my store had.
Finally, I went to a Joann's 25 mi away and it was huge and amazing. I'm so jealous people get to shop there all the time, and have access to normal colors of Kona without having to buy them online. Also- they have broadcloth! 108" of fabric-y goodness that I can touch before I buy.
4. NCR rants/raves/comments: The car buying process sucks when you have to be super conscientious about everything (trade in value, interest rate on loan, getting the best deal on a car). Also, our a/c compressor is out in our current car and having to go test driving in 100+ heat is not my idea of a good time. In short, I don't wanna be an adult!Stand up for something you believe in.
1. Finished - a few different key fobs that will be giftst.
2. WIP/In the queue - working on finishing up the belt(s) for the kids. I'm doing cotton webbing with ribbon belts for them. Just waiting for a finishing piece to come in and it did!
And I have a few no sew pet beds to make, as well as curtains for one of my bathrooms.
3. CR rants/raves/comments - Met someone who was given an embroidery machine and saw some of what she has done with it. TOTALLY jealous!!!
4. NCR rants/raves/comments - We don't have A/C in the house and my craft/office is so HOT
I can barely stand to be in there. I'm about to go buy a window unit for the room.
1. Pillowcase dress for LO, hemmed, fixed DH's pocket and patched is pants.
2. A cami secret, and a t-shirt for myself out of a mens t-shirt
3. I busted a needle last night hemming DH's pants. And learned that you have to buy a denim needle.
4. I need to clean the house this afternoon but just want to sew.

Finished: a scarf for my 15 mo old nephew to match his daddy's scarf.
WIP/In the queue: working on a scarf for HERR Projects, an organization that donates them to homeless ppl.
CR rants/raves/comments & NCR rants/raves/comments: don't know what CR or NCR means, but here's what I've got - I wish I was more advanced when it comes to knitting (and even crocheting). I'm still very basic and I see cool things, but don't know/understand how to make them (or make them look pretty).
