Best: Worked on getting my new bike ready to ride, Transformers on Friday night (I liked it more than DH did), having a killer bike ride yesterday
Worst: Not feeling well on Friday and Sat. morning and not getting quite as much done around the house as I'd like.

best - celebrating my grandmother's 85 birthday at JCT kitchen (YUM!!!)
worst - being really tired all weekend.
Best - Hanging out with my summer kids at Stone Mountain and Clayton County Beach (decided to go there instead of Acworth Beach and we all liked it a lot).
Worst - Getting a little sunburned...

best - some good R&R. Pooltime, sleeping well, saw Cap'n America and Limitless (featuring my BF Bradley Cooper), and not really rushing around.
worst - MrB wanted another pair of running shoes (yes, he goes through them FAST. That's marathon training for you!) so I go to Big Peach in Decatur last week. Get him the shoes, take a pic of shoes IN the size 10 box, he runs with them on Sat morning, and he likes them a lot. Then while he's airing the shoes out in front of our big box fan in the office, he notices the tag in the shoes says 9.5
So back to Big Peach on Johnson Ferry to say "not cool, guys". They'd obviously fix the eroor, except they don't have that pair. 
Nor does any of the other stores. ARGH. In the meantime, our salesgirl could not possibly be more rude to us. Like we're interrupting her day. So we keep that pair, go up to the Kennesaw location and MrB makes BFF's with our salesguy. And buys another paid of shoes.
This is why our Am/Ex hates us for July. All. His. Fault.

Worst: Ending up at the ER on Saturday and finding out that I am having a type of miscarriage, blighted ovum (sac, no fetus). So, no baby
Best: Having one of my best friends in town visiting that helped take my mind off of things.

Jules, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Best: Celebrating my Grandpa's 80th birthday in Detroit. It was awesome. I got to see so much family that I haven't seen in ages.
Worst: Going to Canada for breakfast and getting stopped by the boarder patrol on our way back in. We did nothing wrong but DH is claustrophobic and his worst nightmare is to get stuck somewhere where he can't get out. First we got stuck in a tunnel on our way back with traffic, then we got detained. I thought he was going to pass out. I was nervous because my passport and DL don't match. I never changed my passport to my married name. Oh and throw in that our rental car company didn't give us our paper work and they were giving us the side eye for that. Totally not cool and not really worth it. One last really creepy thing they have scans for money that pick up the sensors in our money. They knew exactly how much cash we had on us. I think I'm going to stick to airplane international travel.

Best - meeting a friend's g/f for the first time, even though we felt bad asking her questions, making it obvious our friend has told us nothing about her. I bought a bunch of new tops and am so happy to no longer have any reason to visit the plus-size dept.! YAY! It's a huge deal for me.
Worst - We saw Harry Potter at the smaller theater near our house instead of the nicer theaters in Kennesaw. The theater itself was ok and the movie was good, but I was so pissed that the quiet parts at the beginning of the movie were hard to hear due to the explosions going on next door. I don't know if someone complained, but it was fine after that.

Worst: I got pulled over for the first time ever and got a ticket for rolling through a stop sign at 8am on a Saturday morning. Really?
Best: It was just a really good weekend! Spent a lot of time with DH, got a few good workouts in, and we went to Golden Corral for dinner last night and it was AWESOME. [I'm ready to be judged for saying that...]

best: having lunch with the fam for my sister's birthday, getting DH 2 sweaters for less than $10, and seeing fast 5 with DH yesterday.....my boyfriend chris bridges was fantastic as always.
worst: being lured in by the new nook at barnes and noble...i still can't decide if i even WANT an e-reader, or which one i might want.

Get an iPad with the Kindle app - then you have an e-reader and an iPad!
DH wants to get an android tablet eventually, so then we'll be able to use that for kindle books and nook books. but right now, i don't need the functionality of a tablet, because i have my droid phone that does all the same stuff...but i don't like reading books on the tiny phone screen.
