Re: Weekend Purchases?
Saturday was my sister's 24th birthday, so I bought her some gifts to pamper herself: gel mask, aloe socks, flat iron case, and an "Easy Feet". She and I laughed and laughed about this "as seen on TV" product for hours one day. I half got it as a joke, but it's something she actually wanted and she was so stoked about it. Go figure!
I bought myself a Kenneth Cole bathing suit from TJ Maxx for $29.99 (MSRP $94). Score! I want to try and swim a couple times a week since it's low impact and I'm starting to get my energy back. This covers my baby bump nicely.

I bought myself a cute shirt from this hippie store, I'll have to get a picture of it later. DH & I also bought 3 oil paintings for the house, and a glass piece to hang in the window in the kitchen.
Other than that it was food, oh and salt water taffy, since DH is obsessed with fresh taffy.
Ready for this exciting purchase?
I got FOUR of them....yippee!!!
Needless to say, I didn't really feel like spending money on anything else after dropping hundreds of dollars at the tire store.
I bought a sweet linen 30" x 30" table square from Ekelund weavers. We already have 8 matching linen napkins, so now we have a full Linnea set for the (future) table. I snagged it because it went on sale (from $53 down to $40). Now it's back up to $53 today! I love when that happens.
Love the tablecloth Eeva.
We went to Watertown, NY yesterday, so I was pretty bad this weekend
I'm going to visit my nieces this weekend, so found them some fun clothes and activity books, bought myself a pair of shoes, fabric for baby quilts, new pjs, a bathing suit cover, and lots of fun food items that we don't have in Canada.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI took my niece and nephew to the zoo on Friday so we ended up buying a couple of things for them at the gift shop.
My sister and I also hosted a sprinkle at her house for my cousin who is having her second child, a little girl this time, and we all chipped in a got her a double stroller:
The only other things we spent money on this weekend was food and gas, since we were traveling.
Mostly we got groceries and such, but we did buy some candle stuff for Felix's mom, and he bought me a bracelet, necklace and earrings that he knew I liked when I wasn't looking (sweet guy). I also bought some clothes and a game for my nephew's birthday and ended up picking up a couple swimsuits on clearance for my niece. I can't seem to find usable pics online to show any of it to you ladies, though.
How cute I've never heard of anything being called a sprinkle before. Does it just mean it's a smaller shower since it was her second child?

I'll be boring with you! I spent nada..
I have one of these! I love it. But, tell your sister to be careful! That shizz is hard plastic and will break your toe off it you slip while using it! I don't know why they didn't make them out of soft plastic/rubber instead.
Missing our little turkey.

We didn't buy much; we just got home from vacation and spent a lot there so it was a low key weekend...
We went to check out kayaks and pet carriers Saturday and otherwise just bought food. I did pick up a pet carrier today but it wasn't really the on I wanted.
I have this too! I absolutely love it! I find the colours go on much nicer when I use my finger, versus a brush, though. You may find the same.
I bought this at Baby Gap for Carter:
And I don't feel like searching Target's website, but I also bought a pair of linen drawstring wide leg pants (for $9!) and a couple of tanks.
ETA: Also a super cute frog hat that I bought for Carter while I was at Gap. It should fit him this winter

I have been lusting over that.
Yup, a sprinkle= a small shower, usually for a second child.
It was basically a family get-together, where we basically only invited really close family and the focus wasn't presents, but celebrate T as a mom. We all chipped in a got her the stroller and her mom got her a little bag of girl clothes, but at the end of the day, it wasn't really a "shower".
