It's over!

Thank goodness. Phew, what a week. Conference went fine,my boss was pretty rude to me all week and apparently I was thanked at the last luncheon when I was cleaning up and she didn't even tell me. Someone else had to let me know. I even woke her up Saturday morning because she had a hangover and overslept. I'm currently trying to find more reliable work on Elance so I can sever all ties. I realized this week just how much I'm being taken advantage of.

Lucie did pretty well except for her sleeping. She didn't know where she was and her crib was tiny and metal and she kept banging herself against it. But everyone loved her, oh my gosh. My mum took her out for walks and to museums and she just made friends with EVERYONE. All the hotel staff loved her.

And the best part... they were filming X Factor. It was Hollywood week!!! All the contestants were staying in our hotel and every day, they would have to leave with all of their stuff and then those who were eliminated got sent to a different hotel and those who made it through came back to ours. Lucie made friends with lots of the contestants, lol! And one was even singing "Lucy in the Sky" to her. Anyway, I'm super excited because the X Factor UK is one of my fave shows so I was stoked when I heard it was coming over here and now I've seen so many of the contestants who have made it to Hollywood week (yesterday they were down to the last bunch I think) so I'm excited to see them on tv when it airs. It was all very hush hush, they weren't allowed to say what they were doing even though it was obvious because all the crew had X Factor shirts on! Oh and Simon Cowell was apparently in our hotel on Wed night!

Hope everyone had a great week!

  • I know you are glad it is over and hopefully you are done with that lady.

That is so cool about Factor X. I really like Simon (I know some don't or don't like his honesty, but he tells you like it is and doesn't sugar coat it and that is what I like about him) and can't wait to see his show.
