Looks like I'll finally get discharged tomorrow. They're still watching my blood pressure. It's pretty high, so they're trying to make sure that I don't have a relapse as soon as I go home. I also have to do a follow up with the renal team to make sure my kidneys recover. From the sounds of all of it, my body was pretty close to giving up. I definitely wasn't prepared for so many complications. I think if it could go wrong, it did.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful thoughts and prayers while we have been going through this. I am super grateful to have such a wonderful husband and awesome friends and family. I can't wait to get home and see my furbabies and sort of hunker down before baby comes home.

Jackson should be moving to the graduated nursery today, which means much less tubes and wires and just some light monitoring. Still no word when he'll be home, but pretty soon we hope. Hopefully I can get some pictures up in the next few weeks.He's such a cutie and one of the favorites here I think. We were very blessed with a super calm baby, just like the docs kept saying. Talk to you all soon!

Congrats, glad to hear you are recovering. It sounds as though you went through the same l&d my SIL did a few months ago, very scary! She fully recovered within 2 weeks. You are one tough cookie!

I can't wait to see Jackson and I love his name! (it was even on our short list)
