Okay who watched?

I cannot believe they showed pictures of the mom dead. We were shocked.

I also cannot believe some of what the husband's SIL said at the end.

Re: Okay who watched?

  • I watched most of it, missed some of the beginning.

What did his SIL say that you are referring to? (just need a refresher)

IMO it was a horrible documentary. They just spent as much time and money as they could trying to make her seem like such a wonderful person.

She may have been while alive, but come on... she f**** up royally and ruined countless lives.... and it was not because her tooth hurt. They are wasting money trying to prove she really didn't have all of that alcohol and THC in her system -- and trying to "prove" it was some weird freakish medical mystery. Guess what, the second set of investigations coincided with the first.

    It angered me.

  • I did not see it; we don't have HBO.  I just don't understand how they can so vehemently defend her when the toxicology reports are so clear.  I can imagine it must be hard to think that someone you love could be capable of such a selfish, and quite frankly, stupid act- but come on!

Even the best of people fall down sometimes- and fall hard.  It is time for this woman's husband to realize this and leave it alone so that others can begin to heal ( as much as one can).

  • I watched - I missed the first 10 minutes of it...

I also can not believe they showed the dead pictures of her - I had trouble falling asleep after see that & I was going to freak out if they showed the kids.

It was a bit annoying that they kept insisting the tooth was the reason for her delusion....

  • Didn't watch it, but heard on the news this morning that the husband is suiing his own BIL, the owner of the minivan she was driving, the same BIL who lost all 3 of his girls. Seriously, why? He submitted the lawsuit on the last day that he was eligible to sue. This poor guy is also getting sued by the family of the victims in the other car, just because he owns the vehicle.

I watched it.  I agree they should not have shown pictures of the dead mother, it was too much.  I really did not like the SIL throughout the documentary.  I felt like she was pushing so much of what was going on and trying to control the whole thing.  Why is it SO important to her to keep pushing things when their relationship was just that she was married to the husband's brother?  When the husband was conjuring up ideas that the tooth could have caused such pain that she "accidentally" drank the vodka thinking it was water (I suppose to explain the chugging which would have been required to drink that much), he still ignored the fact that she had smoked pot.  She couldn't accidentally smoke pot.

  • Didn't see it but I'm disgusted.  I actually just made a post about the lawsuit before seeing this one.  Ever since I read that article on lohud a few minutes ago, I've been nauseated.

  • I saw bits & pieces because I was flipping around.  I am still haunted by those pictures of her and can't get them out of my head no matter how hard I try.  I am still in shock that the husband allowed those to be shown.

Like mrse it also angered me, at least the bit that I saw did.   One scene that I saw had the SIL talking to the investigator after the 2nd set of toxicology reports came back confirming AGAIN that she was drunk & high, plus with the DNA confirming the sample was Diane and SIL was saying "I don't know what to do now. I don't know what to think.  She wasn't drunk."  Umm, did you not read the report twice?  These people are truly in denial about her....it's sad.
