I just found out the MOH is not planning anything for a bachelorette party for a wedding I'm in in 3 weeks. I need to come up with something quick and easy for three girls in their late 20's and early 30's. Nothing too wild, but still fun (dinner/drinks?) Someone suggested Darcelle's to me, but I've never been then so I have no idea if that'll be fun or appropriate. Please help!

Re: Bachelorette party help!
Darcelle?s is a popular spot for Bachelorette parties. I haven?t been there myself, though. People seem to like it.
Other not-so-wild ideas:
Wine tour and lunch
Brunch
Old school slumber party
Happy hour at Portland City Grill
High Tea the Benson
I've never been to Darcelle's, so I can't speak about that.
But, I loved the PPs idea of a wine tour (or a brewery tour if you're more in to that). I did a wine tour with girlfriends the day before my wedding, and it was amazing.
I'd do that during the afternoon and then go to the HH at Portland City Grill.
FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!
I second that! LOVE these ideas!
Thanks for the ideas, ladies!
Love the wine tour idea. Unfortunately, the MOH lives 6 hours away and will be driving in the day of the party, so an afternoon affair is out.
I would recommend a restaurant that is called the NOBLE ROT. I heard they have a fantastic view and if you make a reservation after 5pm I bet you can sit outside on the top terrace and have some amazing food.
I have never been to Darcelle's either, but I have been outside, and it looks kind of dirty and dingy.
I would say if you want to do something with everyone, except the one that is driving during the day, there are a lot of great Spa schools and you could get a;; the girls a pedicure or manicure at Aveda Salon school. Look online for prices or details.
Drinks like beer or a brewery, I would say go to Hopworks Brewery, or if you are more into fluffy drinks go to a martini bar downtown. Portland is great for finding little things to run into.
