Odd question - glasses and c/s

Can you wear your glasses during a c/s?  I would love to be actually able to see her clearly once they have her out!  I just am not sure about contacts/glasses.

Re: Odd question - glasses and c/s

  • I don't wear them, but I was told if I did I could wear glasses, but not contacts.  I'm guessing its probably an individual decision by the OB and/or OR staff, but I think in most cases they would probably let you wear them.

  • I kept mine on for both of my c/s.  Just make sure you tell your anesthesia provider when they do your consent.
