Mason James is Here!!!
I have been MIA for a few days as Mason arrived on Friday!!!
He was born at 3:52 PM and weighed 8 lbs 14 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. I was induced on Friday morning after being in the hospital on cervadil to soften my cervix as when I went on Thursday for my growth ultrasound he estimated 9.2 pounds and they were concerned with this size. Labor was not too bad, I had an epidural at 7 CM and pushed for 20 minutes. Its funny how when you are going through it its not a fun process but you kind of forget all about it once you have the baby.
We are doing great so far. He has a slight murmor in his heart but they think its something that will close up. The cardiologist wants to see him in a month to follow up as he wants to check his heart and his lungs.
I feel pretty good except for the area where I had some tearing. That is very sore and has almost turned to feeling a little bit of pressure over the past day or two. I cant wait for it to feel better. I know it takes time and I need to take care of myself and take it easy.
Once I figure out how to post a picture I will do that. I am not very good at it at all.
