I have a stupid question for you....honestly, do you get yourself ready every day? If so-when do you do it? I'm watching 3 kiddos right now and every day I've thrown on yoga pants and a t-shirt with no makeup and my hair in a pony tail. Poor moms & DH must think I'm a scurvo  ;-) But really-It seems useless to get ready and I always seem to have food or dirt or milk on me! (mostly from G). But on the other hand-I feel like I should make myself presentable.

Re: *December*

  • Ha! I shower and attempt to do my hair :-/ Everyone who comes in contact with me I must think I am a skirv for sure! My hair almost always ends up in a pony, I only wear jeans if all my yoga pants and mesh shorts are dirty and the only make-up I get on is mascara because I sweat the rest of it off by 9 ;-). Honestly, I think in this job we have to be comfortable. I don't like to wear jeans because then I am not as comfortable and therefore not as playful. I spend my days getting dirty too, so why ruin good clothes, at least you are having fun and so are the kids! I always feel bad too because by the end of the day my whole house looks like a tornado hit, but I would worry more if it was clean ;-). I allow disasters to be made and fun to be had and worry about the mess later! I do get tired of wearing yoga pants everyday, but I save my 'good' clothes for the weekends now! My days goes like this, wake-up at 6:30, shower, clean house, breakfast for my girls and by 9:00 - chaotic fun all the way until 5 :-). I learned to stop worrying about little things like my hair, a tiny mess on the floor and just have fun! It can all wait until later! Although I did end up sweeping up sand today...it was driving me crazy!
