Can anyone recommend a good company that doesn't charge a ton to have one installed? My friend is looking into getting one installed as her home was broken into about a month ago.  She just got a quote and that company wanted 1500 to install one and it would only cost 20 a month with no annual contract. She would like to spend a little less to have one installed.

We had an ADT alarm installed through Alarms and Protection Services of NE.  We paid $99 for the install and should be getting a refund on our next bill because we listed a few referalls.  We do have a 3yr contract but that's fine with me, we wouldn't have had it installed if we didn't plan on keeping it.  I love it so far, we got a key fob so when I have 2 kids, a diaper bag, purse, etc I just have to press the the button on the key chain and its unlocked.  Let me know if you want the name of our rep, he was great!

Yes I would love the reps info. Thank you so much!!  If you don't me asking about how much do they charge a month? And do they install alarms on all your windows or is it just the motion sensors?

We got just the one motion sensor for our living room, it really depends on your layout.  Our house is a split level ranch so the only ground floor windows are in our living room and kitchen so if someone were to break in, the motion sensor would go off anyway.  I think we got their middle tier pricing at $38/month.
