10. I watched a documentary called "Something's Wrong with Aunt Diane" about a woman who drove the wrong way on a highway and ended up killing herself, 4 kids in her car, and 3 adults in the other car. It was so disturbing and sad.....I kind of wish I hadn't watched it now.

Ironically, my boss and I were just talking about this yesterday. The lady who was driving and caused the accident was driving her brother's van. The family members of the vehicle she hit, are now suing the brother for damages, because it was his car. Can you believe that?
Ugh, that really is sad.
( I understand that they are grieving, but to go after the brother (especially after he lost his own 3 girls) seems like such a low blow.
I can't even imagine how her family has struggled with the whole event. You kind of have to believe that she would never do that kind of thing on purpose, but the fact that there was so much alcohol/marijuana in her system just makes you wonder what the heck happened. It would drive me crazy not to know the truth.

Re: *SassyGirl*, re: documentary
I had heard that one side had sold the story line for a movie, but I wonder if it was really for this documentary. The family with the girls was really upset about it the story being sold. They were especially upset about the title, as those were the last words they ever heard from their daughter. I cant even imagine. I can't imagine how someone woud want to profit off this tragedy.
Would a documentary normally pay a family to cover their story? Did you catch the film? They talked about the details of the tragedy, but didn't end up uncovering anything more than what had already come to light. They didn't exhume her body (they said at the end of the film that the husband is still trying to raise funds and get the permits required to do so).
Of course now I had to go read the article by the mother of the three girls......ugh, I can't even imagine what she is going through.

Butting in! I also saw this doc the other night and it really disturbed me to the point that I looked up more info in the internet about it. This happened the very same day my friend had her baby and I was at the hospital so I only vaguely remember it happening.
Anyway, a contributor for a site called "People You Will See In Hell" seems to have done extensive research on things and wrote a pretty long piece about it that I spend my lunch hour reading the other day.
Hiya! Do you have a link for the article you mentioned?
I know what you mean -- I hadn't even heard about the accident, and just happened to catch the film (no idea why I chose to watch it, but I was intrigued). Kinda funny that your friend had her baby that day (July 26th), that is also my little sister's birthday.
