Retry: Cleaning sofa professional vs diy
I was quoted $129 plus $15 for travel for a professional to come clean our microsuede sofa. Do you think that's reasonable?
I'm also considering buying a steam cleaner to do it myself. Anyone used the Bissell SpotBot? It's mainly the cushions that need the cleaning. Our puppy decided today that peeing on the couch is her new hobby.
TIA!
Re: Retry: Cleaning sofa professional vs diy
Oh dear. Your #1 thing is going to be getting the puppy trained.
Then, when it is time to deal with the couch, I'd try a Bissell steam cleaner. Ours works well on our area rugs. We've never used it on a sofa.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Yeah, she is pretty well trained. We're getting ready to move, H was just away on a trip for the first time since we got her, and a friend has been staying with us so she hasn't been herself lately.
Thinking about a smaller steam cleaner since our apartment has hardwood floors. Besides our area rug, it would only be used on upholstery.
Our friend has a carpet and upholstery cleaning business.
He told us getting a couch cleaned is just really labor intensive.
I would let a pro do it. He told me it can be a long process.
