we had are hard wood floors redo a few years ago......a few weeks ago my 110 gallon fish tank broke. yes it was a HUGE mess and headache but for once my homeowners actually came through. got the check last week to sand down and re-stain both living room and dining room floor !!!! had a few people come out to give estimates and my wonderful husband finally gave in and said remove the crapet from the stairs and landing. this makes my extremely happy. we have 2 kids and 4 dogs carpet just doesn't work and i loathe vacuum stairs
Re: new floors :)
Yay for something crappy being a harbinger of something good!
What kind of dogs do you have? We removed carpet from our stairs and ended up having to put treads down, our dogs could not navigate the stairs.
YAY for new floors!
I've always wanted wood floors. Someday when we build our dream home I will have them. I agree with the stairs though, I know my dogs (lab mixes) would tear up the wood on the stairs without some type of grip for thier nails.
Yay another bully owner
I have an Amstaff. Any pics fo the new floors? and of course the fur-kids?
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Hardwood floors are the best. I detest carpet. Mostly it because I don't clean enough to keep up with them. Hardwood so so much more manageable.
What kind of fish did you have. I used to be nutso about aquariums in college. I had salt and african chiclid tanks. wow..that was a lifetime ago.
