Do you carbo-load before a big run or a PT test? If so, do you do it the morning of or the night before? What do you eat?

Re: Runners & PTers
I don't eat anything for at least an hour before I run or PT.
I do try to add more carbs than I do any other time, but I wouldn't say I carb load. If I'm running in the morning, I'll do a whole wheat pasta dish with a ton of veggies and some sort of protien for dinner. Before the run, I'll drink a bunch of water. After, I'll have eggs and fruit.
Not a runner, but this is almost exactly what M does before a big ruck march or run.
This! Both H and I have noticed that when we try to run without having any carbs prior to the workout we're both sluggish and slow. I notice a huge difference!
