Has anyone ever had a paint color matched at HD or Lowes?

I went and got paint today at Sherwin Williams and was shocked when I got to the register and it was $50 a gallon. It was not near that much when I painted last year. I love their color options but def cannot afford to do a whole house at that rate.

I know Home Depot has color matching services, and was wondering how good they were, if anyone has done it.

SW usually has coupons and specials.

I have colormatched at Lowes and SW, worked out great.

I have as well and a lot of times they already have the Sherwin Williams "recipes" in their system, so they don't even have to scan them.

I've had paint color-matched at Home Depot with great results. We used Behr and it was ~25/gallon.

Ditto. We had them match our sheet set for our bedroom and it is perfect.

i ordered paint samples from RH and HD color match. matched perfectly.

SW has tons of sales and coupons.  You can register at their web site.  You can get as much as 50% off...

I did not have luck having HD match a Restoraton Color.  It was WAY off.

I think we ended up getting a Low/No VOC Benjamin Moore paint matched at Ace Hardware - but the color was from Behr.  They did a great job.
