Recommend a moving company

So...it looks like (pending the home inspection) we're actually going to be selling our house. Which means we need movers, ASAP, because our closing date will be in 4 weeks.

Any recommendations?

We actually had a not so great experience with Mambo, but I know dozens of people that use them and have nothing but raved about them. So I would actually probably try them again.  They are very reasonably priced.

I think they just overbooked with us and it was a scheduling issue, versus quality of movers.  The movers themselves were pretty great.

We used the Pack Rats twice. Those guys were workhorses!

I am a lurker.... but I live near Glenside and have moved around a bit in this part of the burbs...

 Sloane Movers based in Elkins Park has been amazing - three times we have used them - and had four stops to gather furniture for the first move!  I did provide donuts and iced tea for each move -- considered a big hit or at least they acted like it was!  ;o)

I've used Platinum Moving 3 times and cannot say enough great things about them. Super efficient, super careful and not too expensive. Each time they've moved us it's never been more than $300 and we've packed up a full house.I've used them in Conshy, Roxborough, and Ardmore..Good luck!
