Well, this just brightens my day!
One of the concrete guys is washing my truck right now! I realize that it's to get the ash and concrete dust off of it, but still! They've power washed my windows and doors, and driveway... and now my truck! It hasn't been this clean since the last rain storm I got caught in!
Re: Well, this just brightens my day!
Hah! I'd say "hooray for a free carwash!" but in reality, it's probably the most expensive carwash you've ever gotten
Am I allowed to share what's brightening my day, despite it being totally unrelated? Tynan has started to enjoy standing up (with lots of assistance, of course). So, I stopped at a consignment shop to pick up a johnny-jump-up to see if he likes it (I really hate buying toys new because who knows if he'll actually enjoy it. The swing is the perfect example - he hates it. Glad I paid $40 instead of double or triple that to figure it out). He absolutely loves it! He's been bouncing around, standing, talking, and playing with the toys I hung on it for half an hour now! This might be the solution to eating dinner with my husband!
That's awesome, Amy! Kyle LOVED his (which we borrowed!). That is, until the day he figured out how to get out of it. Yep, he managed to get out. Scared the bejeebus out of me, and we had to retire that toy.
Here's the most in-focus shot I've got of Kyle in his... at almost 5 months old. Can't believe that was 9 months ago!
