I'm boring (and have relatively little expendable cash since we just bought our house) so haven't bought anything new for the fall

Hoodies for fall. I love them. For summer, skirts - the flowy kind. I like my skirts to lift and expand a little if you twirl - if they don't pass the twirl test in the store, they don't come home with me.

Definitely a light weight hoodie.  I bought a thin black zip up one in early spring but it got too hot too fast to wear it much, so I'm pretty excited about rocking it this fall.  I also love 3/4 inch sleeve shirts. 

I'm mostly excited to bring out my darker colored purses.  I'm one of those people who think you should use dark bags in the fall/winter and light bags in the spring/summer, so I rotate my purses throughout the year, and I'm totally excited to bring my darker purses back out since they are bigger.  My little cute summer one just isn't cutting it.

I loooove me some sweaters. I think Dave will kill me if I come home with one more though. So the ones I have now will just have to do. Or I'll just sucker my mom into knitting me another one.

But that's always my fall must have.

In the fall I love to transition to my lightweight sweaters.  I wear them to work, around the house, and even over my pajamas.  Target always has a selection of a bunch of colors in the late fall and I stock up on Black Friday when they are like $8.
