Crafting is officially on hold...

I packed up the majority of my craft stuff today 
But, if it is packed, the temptation is gone as well.
DH is going to FREAK when he sees how many boxes are labeled "Craft Room." Even I was a bit surprised by how much stuff I had since I store it in any nook and cranny we have. Guess it will solidify how much I really do need a craft room!

I'm a pretty occasional crafter and I was shocked when I moved in April how many supplies I had. We just finished painting my craft room and I've been setting it up - it has freed up 5 of the biggest boxes from the basement. And I just had one closet (packed to the gills apparently) in our little apartment before. Of course now I'm overwhelmed unpacking it since a lot of it is WIPs that I haven't touched since we got engaged and I have so many new projects started now that I'm quilting. Le sigh. It never ends.
Good luck in your move and I hope you get the craft room that you need! I call it the "project" room to DH so he doesn't feel like it's so silly.

We call mine 'the studio'. It makes it sound so much more important.lol I think DH does it so that family members will take what I do seriously, and consider me to be the artist/artisan that he thinks I am.
I am afraid to find out how much stuff I have. I have it everywhere in our house...like in the open as well as in containers, etc. I have been sorting, which makes it even more spread out. I hope to find the strength to get through it all and purge before we put our house on the market. Otherwise most of it will go into storage and I will have to deal with it after we move.
