Where are you from in PA? It looks like we're PCSing in March to Pittsburgh for a whole 6 months and I'm already a little panicky.

Re: ::sweetface83::
Sorry I'm being a nosy nelly... I'm from the Pittsburgh area. All of my extended family lives there. I lovvvveeeee Pittsburgh.
If you have any questions I will do my best to help!
Yay! I'll keep that in mind as it gets closer. I don't have to move with H, but I'm pretty sure baby and I will be coming along for his school.
How's the weather in March?
It's usually still cold and snowy there until about April, sometimes May.
Well, poop. I was hoping to avoid a lot of cold and snow this Winter, but I guess not.
Puffy's right I'm from Philly. I haven't been out there since I was a kid, so I don't know too much about the area. I think BLT will be able to give you more info. I think she has family or her H does around that area.
As for stuff to do, I would definitely recommend going to one of the resorts in the Poconos if you can. They are absolutely gorgeous and a perfect get away for you and H. They're not so much for the LO, but a few places do cater to families. Hershey, PA is within driving distance and lots of family fun.
Pitt's a mid-size city so I don't doubt that you'll find lots of stuff to do.
I rec this site often to ppl and sometimes I find stuff on there that I didn't even know about, after living here my whole life----www.visitpa.com
As for March weather, it's kinda nasty. Most days are really windy and it tends to be rainy and sometimes still snowing out there.
Thanks for the recommendations. I am glad we're going to somewhere populated vs. a small town.
