Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

No more wallpaper!!!!
....Except for ONE stinkin' wall in the dining room that the big heavy china hutch is against...but other than that it's all gone! Once my parents come over and help us move the china hutch I'll take that last wall down. I'm in the process of removing some glue in the front bathroom. The good thing is that the front bathroom and laundry room walls are already textured. There are no pop corn ceilings in those rooms so once I get the rest of the glue off I can actually paint a room!
We should also have a new stove and microhood soon. The carpenter is coming next week to do some work on the cabinets so the distance of the microhood from the stove will meet code for re-sale. Once that's done we can order them and get those in. My mom and I wanted to put in the new counter tops at the same time as the new appliances but my dad said "no "for now. I think I may have to ask Santa for granite counter tops. I'm just glad we're moving forward with the renovations. Yay!
