Tattoo recommendations?

Hi ladies! I'm looking for a great place to go to get my next tattoo...or two... ideally I'd love to find a really great artist who can help me work out my concept and provide a really high quality tattoo. I have one already and it's faded so quickly despite the fact that I'm never in the sun and I take good care of it, so I'm a little nervous about getting another and having it fade out quickly as well. I'm hoping if I can find a good quality artist that would make a difference.

So I live in Sacramento but I'm totally willing to travel. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

This would be really far from you but I had mine done at Zebra in Berkeley 8 years ago. I brought in a painting as the image and they did a fabulous job I think. I haven't noticed fading at all. They're well known and were highly recommended to me. GL!

I think there is a Zebra in Walnut Creek but I'm not 100% positive.

There is, that's where I got my tattoo done. I've posted on a few boards and Zebra has been highly recommended by everyone.

I had Aubrey when I was there. Super chll, super awesome girl. I love my tat. Highly recommended her.

Thanks so much! I actually had my 1st tattoo touched up there and that was a good experience. I'm still dealing with fading so I'm not sure if it's my skin or how I care for my skin or what, but it's a bummer. Thanks again for the recommendation.

Are you out in the sun a lot? That's the only thing I can think would cause fading. I avoid the sun because of my super fair skin.
