OK Ladies, Send Me Those Labor Vibes!
So, here's my awesome plan. I need to go into labor sometime tomorrow, after mil arrives and have the baby anytime on August 1st. That way, she's here to watch Leo, I get to have an August baby, but at the same time not go over due like I did with Leo, and come home and she can spend the rest of the week ooh'ing and aah'ing over the new baby until my parents get here on Saturday morning. That way, when my parents get here, we can all just get on with loving the new baby and mil will have gotten her 'time' in with the new baby so she wont bug me when my parents are here. Awesome plan, right? lol
So, care to spare some labor vibes for me that I don't go over due? August 1st is ideal, but I'll take him up to his due date if necessary haha.
Come on beh-beh, get out of my belleh! <--- He's now been served his eviction notice :P

Ok so I know "the baby will come when its ready" BUT here are my tried and true tips (from me and other women I know) -
walk hills or stairs. I did hills, it was easier on my knees. after dinner I'd go out on my own to walk around the neighborhood and just walked up and down every hill I could find. Nothing major just small ones.
bounce on a labor ball
and the easiest one - get some evening primrose oil capsules and (sorry, this is gross for the non-pg) shove two or three up your you know what before you go to bed from now on. seriously, they're full of prostaglandins, which is the same thing in semen that is supposed to soften the cervix. hence the rec for sex to put you into labor but this is WAY easier. I tried sex, too, but maybe I was just to big by then becuase it was pretty much physically impossible at 38 weeks. Night two of the capsules and my water broke at 2 am when I got up to pee.
