International carriers tax refund?
I'll admit that my knowledge on this subject is limited as I just was pleasantly surprised by Jet Blue's website. I guess the air transportation excise tax law has expired and tickets purchased before the 22nd of July for travel after the 23rd are eligible for a refund.
Does anyone have experience with this subject? The man and his family are flying in next week and I'm more than certain that they'd be enormously thrilled if some of their ticket tax could get refunded. They're flying Iberia, so I don't really know how much, if any, of the ticket taxes went to the US.
