Cat Urine on carpeting

I have a carpet scrubber that helps some, but not completely. Can I put natures miracle in the scrubber in lieu of or with the soap? Will that do anything different?

Does the scrubber heat up? If it does it will break down the enzymes and it won't work. 

SOAK the spot with nature's miracle, and then leave it sit for a week or two. If it's somewhere not in your major walking paths in the house, upturn a plastic laundry hamper over it so that kitty can't get back to the spot to re-mark it.

I've gone through the worst cat pee problems you can imagine short of cats peeing on *me* and the Clean+Green is amazing at odor removal. You don't need to scrub - just spray on and blot it up. You might need to do it several times for carpet to get through all of the layers.

Sometimes you may have to actually lift up the carpet and clean the flooring underneath as well if the pee was left to sit, it may have soaked all the wat thrgough. It helps to also spray natures miracle on the underside of the carpet too if you can get it up. Then i would steam clean later to get the chemicals out if you are worried.

We use Spot Shot to clean up kitty messes.  It's in a blue plastic spray bottle, and works well for us.

The absolute BEST way to get cat urine smell out of carpet is 1 cup hydrogene peroxide/1 teaspoon  baking soda and a drop or 2 of liquid dish detergent.  Pour over affected area and scrub so it gets deep in. It will foam up.  Leave it to dry entirely- then vacuum.  Our male cat peed frequently in the hall when he got older and this worked like a charm.

AGREED.

When I was a kid, we had FIVE cats for a very short time (Mama and kittens, then just one kitten). They managed to pee all the way through our carpet and into our hardwood floors. We thought removing the carpet would help, but the floors smelled just as bad.
