I have never done it before but since they have added more early voting locations there is one right by my work so I think I am going to go on lunch. Anyone else early voting? I guess all I need is my ID ? The early voting website is kind of silent on what to bring.

Re: Anyone Early Voting?
I did it for the primary. They will want at least your driver's license. Your voter's registration card will help because it tells them which district's ballot to give you. It's good to hear someone going out their way to vote.
I'm waiting for election day. DH and I get up early and go to our polling place together with a thermos of coffee. We never wait more than 15 minutes before voting and heading off to work. (Companies are supposed to give you time to vote, they can get in trouble for not doing it.)
This is only the second presidential election I have voted in so I am super excited even though I really don't think either candidate is really going to help the average person. I'm focusing a lot of my attention on the local elections. The Sentinel had a decent insert for Seminole County voters on Sunday, hopefully there will be another one next Sunday and the Sunday before the election. Only two more weeks to go!
My husband and I voted through absentee ballots. This was my first time ever voting that way but that's the only way he's ever voted.
It must say it was nice having time to read through everything from the comfort of your own home.
DH and I went to the supervisor of elections office to vote yesterday... but, of course, early voting didn't begin until today. D'oh!!!
I think we're going to go back on Friday morning if we're not too embarrassed to show our faces there. LOL
The good news is that I already did the hard part--figuring out who to vote for in all the races, so it's just a matter of getting out there now.
My polling place is right next to my house, but its not open when I have to leave for work, and I am NOT spending 2 hrs waiting in line at 5pm when I get home. So we had absentee ballots mailed to us. Got them in the mail Saturday. Plan on researching more this week about local stuff, and mailing it back by Friday.
I can't wait until this whole process is over... I hate the negative campaigning right now, and I am only expecting it to get worse. I really hate it when they leave 5-7 "recorded" messages on my answering machine a day.
No I understand what you mean. I voted early but I felt weird like my vote wouldn't count because I didn't vote on election day (I know it will but it felt weird)
Anyways it was quick and I had my sample ballot filled out to save time. You also only need your drivers license and they look up your ballot by your address.
