Monday Morning Vent!

So I have been on vacation for about two weeks.  It was wonderful got to spend time with the H, see friends and family and had some really good food.  

 

Boo to the welcome back present in my office?ANTS everywhere!  Not to mention the really ugly gift my scale gave me this morning!!!

 

Do you think it is too early to ask for another vacation?

 

Ok enough venting and back to the grind!

I live in the middle of the woods and ants are everywhere here too, so I feel your pain.  I even have ants in my car.  It's craziness.

Boric acid. It is amazing. Mix it with cocoa, sugar, and water to make a paste. The ants bring it back to the nest and feed it to the queen. Growing up, we had the worst ant problem. Once my mom found boric acid, they were all gone within a week or two. HTH with your crappy day.

This has been a bad Monday for me too.

Today is H's birthday, and he told me to expect a call from him this morning since their CO lets them have a 5 minute phone call on their birthday (unless they do an outbound communications lock-down for security reasons). I was up early, waiting and waiting. Never got a call. Now I'm disappointed and sleep deprived.

I have a feeling this is going to be a mopey week for me. Between missing H's birthday today and our 2-year anniversary this upcoming Sunday I've got a lot on my mind.
