helloooooo out there...

I'm bored. Where is everyone?

They have the water shut off at work (for over an hour now) so I'm trying to distract myself from the fact that my bladder is about to EXPLODE.

No water is not cool when baby loves my bladder so much that I need to pee every 15 minutes.

  • Not much. I'm bored out of my mind today.

    You?

  • I've been filling my time with Pintrest. Now I know why so many people talk about that site. Addicting doesn't accurately describe it.

  • I just got to work.  I spent the last 3 hours at the Chevy dealership having the random light that decided to turn on fixed and having my car inspected for my state (as opposed to the state I bought it in).

  • Have you found bedding yet?  Update on nursery progress?  Kitchen progress?

My sister and I are planning to make the bedding, curtains etc.. I could'nt justify spending $200+ on baby bedding that will barely be used when I won't spend more than $100 for bedding for ourselves.

The nursery is still the office/storage space. I emptied out the closet over the weekend and since the flooring and cabinets are in now I can start putting stuff away in the kitchen. Once that's done I can finally start on the nursery.

Kitchen should be done or close to it by the end of the month. Our counter tops are on order and won't be in until about the 27th.

The only thing I've decided on for the nursery is the yellow/orange color scheme. I'm going fabric shopping this weekend I think.

FUN!  Are you still thinking owls?  I found some cute owl fabric shopping for a new baby quilt I'm going to make this weekend.  I can't remember exactly where but I could find it again if you'd like.

I probably won't use owls on the bedding, but I'd like to incorporate them in the wall art and stuff.

  • Michelle, this is very smart, because can I just tell you that I got two sets of bedding for El, and one is still in the package? I should've returned it for store credit.
  • Michelle- What floor did you end up choosing for your kitchen?
Baby, you've got the sort of eyes that tell me tales...

It's a Swiftlock Plus or something like that from Lowes. There are pics in my blog.
