Mahimahi

Any favorites recipes? I have 3 pounds in my freezer that I want to cook.

Re: Mahimahi

  • When I make fish, I like to do something like this:  http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/recipes/1634  and have a side of rice, pasta, bread....some carb.  I just use whatever veggies we have.

I also love fish tacos, but have never made them myself.  Maybe just bake up the fish, wrap in a tortilla or crispy shell with lettuce and cheese, or a coleslaw?  I've had them with black beans on top as well....whatever you like.

  • Oh, and I just use wax paper or tin foil.  I don't normally have parchment, and I don't make a special purchase for this meal.  The others work just fine for me.
  • With mild fish, I always make fish tacos. Use blackening seasining and grill the fish. Tortilla with avocado, tomato, coleslaw and lime juice, I don't think I'm forgetting anything.
  • I bake it and put panko on the outside with a mixture of light mayo, dijon, and horseradish (mix to taste) all over the top. When you bake it, the sauce puffs up and browns on the top. omg. (I just look up baking time on the internet based on thickness)
