Domestic Goddess Monday
I bought a shark vac and steam mop yesterday with returned goods to BB&B. Also used my 20% off coupon which brought the total to 120 for it! With coupons yesterday, I saved a total of $93 something!!! BAM! And I even got my 10% coupon back when I asked if I could use it again. hahaha. So excited to try my shark out. DH's dog is making me go completely nuts with my dirty tile right after I clean it.
Cue *omg, when I did I get so old that I'm excited about a shark vac*

I'm cooking pot roast today, it's DH's favorite. I actually started typing FI and had to catch myself haha Our furniture is supposed to be delivered today so I'm looking forward to that! We'll have real seating and I can start decorating!

I have a steam vac (mine is a bissel) and I love that thing. I use it on the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom but I don't use it on the wood floors. I use method wood floor cleaner and put a rag on the end of my swiffer for those. I heard water/steam can be drying for wood floors. But its AMAZING on my tiles:)
I threw together stuff to make crock pot shredded pork tacos this AM. I put a pork tenderloin, tomato pasta, half a packet of taco seasoning, chopped onion, cilantro, and some salsa in on low for 6 hours. I will shred it and serve in tortillas with shredded cabbage and guacamole. Yummmm. I made pot roast two weeks ago and it was a hit with DH!

I got a shark vac for the couches for the wedding and I freaking LOVE it. It's awesome!

I am with Risa - so undomesticated! And such a bad Nestie these days, I know! So there ya go. I did want to comment that we got a Shark (not the steam kind but the regular vacuum) and I love it.
I was just telling DH (I always want to say FI too) that I need to start back up with a meal plan. I always expect him to cook because he is a million times better, but I also understand that if he isn't in the mood, it's the very last thing he wants to do after working all day [as a cook]. I know it's not fair.
I got one for my shower and OMG I love it!!!!! We have hardwood floors downstairs that are a pain to keep clean and it's fantabulous!
