30 DS and update

OK, we found out we can't get high speed internet in our condo complex. One company that we've never heard of bought the rights to it...I guess, and only they can service internet. I don't know much about it but I guess it's $40.00 a month and it's only for "3" something. I don't know what the 3 is but I guess standard is 15. Like I said I have no idea what that means but it's not good and not worth 40 bucks a month. I can't download books to my Kindle and I can't use wifi on my ipod. We have to go to Starbucks. It sucks. But I am still somehow picking up a faint signal from someone in the area and can get on my laptop but nothing else.

If I can still join in the 30 day shred challenge I'd like to. I'm not sure what the rules/goal/challenge is. My mom told me today that there is a new 30 day shred and she bought it for me. Is it ok if I use that? It's the exact same 3-2-1 workout for 4 weeks. just different workouts. 

Here are my stats on weight loss.

Friday the 22nd my DH and I started a low carb diet. We are eating VERY healthy, all the veggies and meat we want but no bread/pasta/fruits right now. I was 144 pounds, eating horrible and not exercising. Like eating NON STOP. I weighed myself this last Friday and I'm 138 now. I know a lot of that is water weight. I'm still eating three full meals a day and getting lots of nutrients just no sugar, alcohol, or breads and pastas. I will do the 30 day shred tonight.

Is there anything else I need to list? I might miss one day of the shred bc we're going out of town for b-days.

  • We are just all doing it and encouraging each other...We started today and I think we'll all probably miss a few because of vacations, etc. I also think it is healthy to take rest days and others may not be ready to move levels after 10 days..but we've committed to giving it a go in August.

    Let us know how the new video is. She was pushing it on a TV show today and it sounds pretty much the same.

  • OK, good. My mom told me that the only difference is that instead of doing 3-2-1 and then repeating the same 3-2-1 it's a different set. Does that make sense?

    Yes since I know I can get a connection in my room I think I can get on to update for the weight loss challenge. What's entailed?
