We did. :-( We found a girl that attends a local college and was looking for an older dog (Blakely is 5) to help train her 9 month old lab puppy. She lives with 2 other girls in an apt complex with walking trails, a lake (that they let people and dogs swim in), etc. Because there are 3 girls living there, there's almost always someone home, they're all in college, and it was a really good fit. I've heard from the girl since she got Blakely about 3 weeks ago, and Blakely is doing very well and they all love her!
We miss her, but we are much happier knowing that she's doing well.
I'm glad that she has another good home. It sounds like she will get lots of attention too. I know you guys miss her but I am sure it was hard on you guys with a new baby and I am sure Blakely was having a hard time because she was the only baby in the family for a while.
