Ten Things Tuesday
1. I have leftover Buddy's pizza for lunch and I am very excited about it.
2. I think ILs have far too many family get-togethers. We don't need to get together for a family dinner every.single.week.
3. On Sunday, I kinda flipped out on DH about his lack of finishing projects around the house. He got mad and I blamed it on my hormones, but it's pretty much how I was feeling. It kinda kicked his butt into gear so I don't regret it one single bit.
4. I wish this darn baby would flip head down. I know it's still early, but I'm sick of it kicking my bladder all the time.
5. I'm starting to think baby is a girl. But I don't really admit that to people because I know I won't stop hearing about it.
6. I am putting off the baby name discussion because I want to keep our names a secret and DH sucks at keeping secrets. So the longer we go without discussing it, the less people he can tell.
7. I have 2 wedding showers and a wedding this weekend -- I am exhausted just thinking about it.
8. Big Cheez-Its are the sh!t. I am totally addicted and for some reason, they taste so much better than the normal size Cheez-Its.
9. Our whole office was rearranged and I love my new cube. It has a window (who cares if it only faces the atrium?), it's much quieter and darker, no one walks by unless they are actually coming to see me, and I actually like the people I am sitting by.
10. I watched Men Tell All, Bachelorette, and ATFR last night and I think I officially killed all my brain cells.
Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. DH and I bought a China Cabinet off Craig's list this past weekend and I am looking forward to giving it a makeover on Friday with my MIL.
2. Thanks to #1 I can finally get my nice dish set unpacked from our wedding, two years ago....
3. I also bought a bunch of scrapbook storage from Michael's over the weekend and am looking forward to getting my craft room organized and usable.
4. Im hungry and I dont get lunch for another hour.
5. DH and I have decided to DIY a backsplah in our kitchen. We picked out tiles this weekend and I can't wait to get started.
6. I have a lot of projects I want to work on
7. I have a performance review scheduled for Thursday. Im keeping my fingers crossed for a decent raise and bonus.
8. I have three more car payments left and can not wait to be done!
9. Ive seen the new Harry Potter movie twice already, once in 2D with my DH and once in 3D with my best friend.
10. I have more books than I know what to do with at my house that have yet to be read. But I never seem to have the time to read them because I am too busy doing other projects.
1. We have tons of leftovers in the fridge at home, but I forgot to grab something when I left this morning, so I'll be buying lunch. Oops.
2. I spend a lot of money on coffee. A LOT.
3. We're driving to Connecticut tomorrow, and I'm not looking forward to 12 hours in the car.
4. However I am looking forward to spending 3 days at my Aunt's house.
5. We finally made some progress in the basement, and I'm so happy about it!
6. I was just thinking that I need to hurry up and update our house website for blog wednesday tomorrow, and then remembered I'll be in the car all day. Apparently I have issues with short-term memory, haha.
7. I'm on the hunt for a 4x6 ft counter top if anyone knows of a good deal.
8. Sorting through all our crap for a future garage sale has gotten my allergies all worked up. I guess that's what happens when you leave stuff out in the garage for 3 years collecting dirt/dust/raccoon nests.
9. I got a set of acrylic nails put on last night, and today I am in the 'sore fingers' stage.
10. Tonight I need to go back for a pedicure (I ran out of time before they closed last night).
1. I had my Anatomy Scan last week and I told the tech I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS! So she kinda slipped and went down in that area and I seen something!!! Then she turns to me and say's OH you may want to turn your heads the legs are wide open....No Crap!
2. So I am confident I am having a boy, I just didn't get her to confirm it.
3. My yellow lab needs to have eye surgery on Th.
4. I need to take the Black Lab with me for a check up.
5. That means I can't leave the Brown guy home alone, so he will come too! It will be one heck of a fun ride to Saline with the 3 dogs with me
6. H and I are finishing our registry tonight at BBB...
7. We have 2 baby deer in our yard all the time, they are soo dang cute.
8. I am having Disney withdraws and can't wait to go next year!
9. If these 2 storms come through and we loose power AGAIN for multiple days I will go crazy!!
10. I showed my H a list of names I have picked out for the baby to see if he liked any of them... He looked at me and said how about "Wolfgang Von" I was like WTH?! I don't know if he was kidding and I didn't say much so now I call my belly Wolfgang and he is getting annoyed by it...so I think it was a joke
1. I am starving and counting down until lunch.
2. The great thing is that I work in a building that offers plenty of soups and sandwiches. What to get??
3. Driving to work this morning I saw a man wearing a bike helmet while driving his Ford Fusion. Interesting...
4. Last night we slept with the windows open since the A/C is out and I slept like a baby.
5. We put an offer on a Short Sale/house on Sunday and the sellers accepted. Yay!
6. Follow up to #5 - now we just have to wait for the bank on the 2 loans. I'm assuming it will be a while before we hear anything.
7. I changed jobs and I now I have to learn the IT language...much harder than I thought it would be.
8. I cannot believe it's already August. It feels like July flew by.
9. I'm excited to possibly be going camping this weekend.
10. Follow up to #9 - hopefully we don't get kicked out of the campsite again.
1. I'm so over looking for daycares and I've barely even started. The two I think I'd like the best may have an opening about 2-6 weeks after I need them :-/
2. Fortunately, I think we'd be able to be flexible about when I come back to work, and maybe have grandma's help if I need to go back before the slots open up.
3. But, even still, they're still only maybes.
4. I slept so bad last night. I don't think I got more than 2hrs in a row. And for no good reason either.
5. I'm supposed to go grocery shopping tonight. I hope its not absolutely pouring outside.
6. DH is finally starting to read some of the baby books that I asked him to. Although, at this rate I'm not sure he'll finish by Oct.
7. We were supposed to sell the jeep this summer, but it still needs some work and it has been way too hot. Not sure if this is on hold until next year at this point.
8. I need to do the next step in my experiment in less than 15min, which cuts into when I usually eat my lunch. I hope the next step doesn't take too long because I'm getting really hungry.
9. We have a new employee on my team at work so my boss is taking us all out for lunch tomorrow. Yay for a free lunch!
10. I really wish that there was going to be a day with a high of 70 sometime soon. I'd love to open up windows and actually be able to enjoy the outdoors. This "cold front" bringing temps into the mid-80's just isn't doing it for me.
1. I like the challenge of doing Ten Things Tuesday better than Five Things Friday which is maybe why I've never done FTF.
2. I too watched all of the Bachelorette stuff on Sunday and Monday and I am thankful it's over.
3. I felt really bad for Ben but I was rooting him on for getting angry with her. It was a genuine reaction and I appreciated that. Although I was super angry with Ashley for letting him get down on one knee. She should have stopped him before he got to that point.
4. I was up late on Saturday and watched most of Big Brother After Dark and spoiled myself. I know who won HOH and then who wins the POV. I am mad at myself.
5. We finally packed up the entire basement on Saturday. We had an entire dumpster worth of trash and then another carful of stuff for Goodwill. It was very therapeutic. Now we just have to do the rest of the house...
6. I cannot wait to get my new office at work. I've never had my own office before so I'm really excited. Supposedly I move in next Monday
7. I've been trying to drink more water lately and I'm only doing so-so at it.
8. I really hope it doesn't storm tonight. Bella has been absolutely terrified of the storms recently and one of us has had to sleep on the couch just so she doesn't howl at the door all night.
9. I need to call Consumer's to change my name on the bill because they haven't responded to my e-mail from a week and a half ago. I tried calling a few minutes ago and they said it would be a 45 minute wait. No thank you.
10. I always get intrupted at work when filling this out so I have to go back to make sure I don't post the same thing twice.
1) i ate leftover chinese for breakfast. it was delicious.
2) i am tired of people asking me if my daughter is 6-9 months old. no people she is 3 months old. geeze.
3) we are looking for a house and it is so frustrating.
4) i watch way to much TV.
5) i dont understand the appeal of "shark week"
6) i am beyond tired of dealing with beaumonts pediatric physical therapy dept. almost 2 months later and my daughter is STILL second on the list.
7) i want to see said list with my own eyes.
8) if she ends up needing a helmet because of all this waiting around i am gonna be so angry.
9) i read some of a book last night for the first time in almost 4 months.it felt so good.
10) i really want to go see harry potter but i feel bad leaving ava to go to a movie. mom guilt sucks!
1. We're getting a new car for DH and I'm quite excited about it.
2. On one hand I'm getting really excited for the baby to arrive, yet on the other hand I still feel like there's a lot I want to get down around the house before she arrives and that is stressing me out slightly.
3. Emma has been doing really well with the potty training bit and I'm super proud of her.
4. My MIL is a complete ho-bag and I really wish I could just not let her into the hospital when the baby comes because I know just the sight of her is going to irritate me.
5. DH had the last five days off and it was really nice to have him home and do fun things as a family.
6. I've decided that I really don't like about 80% of other people's kids. I'm okay with my friends' children, but most random kids that I encounter irritate me and I think they have no manners whatsoever.
7. I judge young girls (and their parents) when I see them out in public wearing short little booty shorts that show off their a$$cheeks. There is not a chance in H my kids will be allowed to dress like that, especially out in public.
8. We bought our air conditioners online through Home Depot, and then after they arrived I realized that if I had bought them throught the Shop Discover function on their website, I would have gotten an additional 10% cash bonus on my order.
9. It would have been about a $45 reward, so now I'm really irritated with myself for not thinking to use that site beforehand.
10. I will probably continue to obsess/stew over said savings for the next couple of months or until I forget about it, which is pathetic.

We were just there in December, and I am already looking forward to going back in a few years. We love Disney World!
