Anyone use this site and have found it worthwhile? My mom of all people is an event organizer and I went with her to one of her events this weekend and I surprised to find normal, YOUNG people! Just wondering if y'all are members of any groups I should join!

I remember I joined that site back in 2004 when I first moved here. I think I only went to one event, but I met a few girls who I ended up being friends with for a year or 2.

We joined right after we got married looking for more newlyweds to hang out with since most our friends were single and I'm not kidding the friends we met from the married couples group are some of our BEST friends now! Totally worthwhile, we kinda branched out with about 6 other couples and just ended up hanging out all the time with them :-) Def recommend!

What group did you join Lauren (cliffswife)! I got a feeling it was going to be all singles and not marrieds but that's great!

I think it was "Married Couples" or "Newlyweds" in Tampa Bay? I forgot the name bc I'm not a member of it anymore :-(

Someone that I work with took over a group here in SH where I live.  I went to 1 or 2 events, but it was mostly people that I worked with, maybe a few other random people.  So for me, it wasn't a good experience.  But I guess for some people it worked better!
