Did anybody watch it last night? If so, do you think Ashley made the right choice?
If you had to pick any of the guys from this season of the Bachelorette to be the next Bachelor who would you pick?
Re: The Bachelorette
I am so happy she picked JP! I liked him ever since the whole Bentley leaving thing so I feel she made the right choice for herself. I did feel a little bad for Ben because he seems like such a nice guy, but I had a hard time seeing him and Ashley working.
As far as the next Bachelor I think it could be Ben F. or Ryan.
I was very happy for picked JP. He was my favorite from the start and seems like the most normal down to earth guy which I think she needs since she's a bit hyper and dramatic. I was actually surprised at what a jerk Ben turned into. Granted, she never should have let him get down on his knee and he had every right to be upset, but he was always portrayed as this happy carefree kind of guy, and then he snapped real quick into mean, angry, and kind of a jerk. I think that showed her right there that he wasn't the guy she thought he was, or at least I think that's how it would have been for me.
Do they usually take a Bachelorette reject and make him the next Bachelor? I've never watched until this season so I am not sure how it works. I think Ames would be really funny to watch though lol.
As bad as it is to say, I've been a pretty devoted Bachelor/Bachelorette watcher. Although I didn't watch too much of this season, I am glad that Ashley picked JP. Usually I watch the finale, find out they break up and then decide that I'm never watching again ... LOL ... and that has yet to happen.
Lately they have been picking new Bachelor/Bachelorettes from past seasons .... If I had to pull for someone to be picked for the next bachelor, I would have to g owith Kirk from Ali's season. I heart him! He is on the Bachelor pad that starts next Monday though, and yes, I do watch that too .... I'm a reality TV w*ore
Crap! I replied to this and the nest ate my response
In short:
* JP would have been my choice, so I guess I'm happy that she chose him, even though I'm not crazy about her. But he is, so I'm glad he got what he wanted.
* I think Ben was totally justified in his response at the end. I mean, I'm sure the producers had something to do with it, but did she really have to let him get down on one knee and propose? She should have stopped him. So I can't say that I blame him for his reaction. I can't say that mine would have been so mild, really.
* I am completely cynical about the show and watch it for pure entertainment value. I mean, can you really expect to fall in love with someone enough to propose to them while they were dating 24 other people, one of which they probably made out with the night before you proposed? Oh, and not to mention they are in these amazing places on these amazing dates. I mean, I could fall in love with anyone in that situation! It's not like the real world where there are problems...and that's why they always fall apart. They get back here and all the glamour is taken out and they have to go on the kinds of dates we go on. After being used to going on dates in Fiji, I'd say that I'd be pretty bored with dates like Chris and I go on!
Ok, I said in short. Sorry about my rant here. Ha!
