Rec your webcam?
When I travel for work, I take my laptop which does not have a built-in camera. I'd like to get a very basic one, so I can skype with DH and DS.
Do you have one you'd recommend, or one you wouldn't?
Anything I should look out for when researching/buying?

We bought a webcam a few months ago for the same purposes (Skype, etc).
Honestly, based on experience, it's not necessary to get anything beyond basic if you're not using it for anything more than Skype. We bought a Microsoft Lifecam (I think) at target for $15 and it works great and does what I need. It's plug-n-play, too - which is a nice feature.
If you're looking for something a little more advanced I can ask DH for you.
That sounds perfect, actually. I don't want to spend much. I looked at the best buy website, but everything is at least $40 and does way more than I need it to. I just need a camera with a microphone.
