LO and I are jetting off tomorrow to visit various grandparents. We are, in fact, leaving the house in 11 hours. . . And I have not packed a single thing. We'll be gone for two weeks, hitting at least six states on our trip. I've got nearly all the laundry done, but I can't seem to motivate myself to get packing. Ugh. At least it should be an easy trip tomorrow. The flight is less than two hours, LO has his own seat and we land before nap time--and, LO is a good traveler. If only he could be trusted to pack a suitcase! (If left up to him, the suitcase would contain fruit snacks, trains, his space shuttle, helicopter and airplanes. Maybe his bathing suits. Typical man! Just kidding!)

Okay, I'm going to, at least put the clothes in the dryer. . .

I have been know to pack dirty clothes when traveling to my parents. Granted, that was back when I was single, working full time and didn't have my own washer and dryer. I've traveled so much with LO that I could probably pack half asleep. . . And at this rate, that is what I will be doing!

(The laundry is now in the dryer, I have made a wee bit of progress!)

My DH feels the very same way y'all do. I drive him batty! FTR, I have most of our stuff packed now. Unfortunately, I'm rethinking one big suitcase vs. two smaller ones. . . I can't get to one of the smaller bags without waking DH though. I'm giving myself lots of time in the morning though. I've got it covered! LOL! But, my DH has a few more gray hairs though. When he went to bed, I hadn't started the last load of laundry!

Pfffft...that's what I do when I go to Houston and visit my folks.  I always "forget" and pack not so cute clothes when we go.  It gives me a reason to go shopping and not feel too guilty about it.  I will say that sometimes this strategy backfires and results in me having to get another suitcase to fit the new stuff I've bought.
