A few cute ideas were swapped tonight:
Eye Mask made of Minky- embroidered with "I'm dreaming of Christmas"
Embroidered note cards (flowers)
Insulated lunch bag with a bathing beauty (topless!) embroidered on the lid
Picture with a "plump" old lady falling on the beach; says, "Spring Break is what I get falling out of my beach chair" (big hit!)
Some of the quilts shown were amazing. You quilters have my admiration. Does anyone have one of these?

When I went to AZ to stay with my mom for two weeks, I was going crazy by the second day and told DH that if that was any indication of how the two weeks were going to be, I was buying myself one as a reward. I found a great price online and ordered two dies and a case to go with it. It came while I was there and I started cutting squares for a quilt for my youngest daughter. I haven't had time to work on it, but I acquired two more dies last week, when accuquilt had a sale on their website.
Those are some great ideas! My friends 2yo just had a birthday and she was getting a play kitchen, so a lot of the guests got her kitchen food etc. And someone had gotten her a little collapsible tote/basket type thing and embroidered her name and flowers on it. It was so adorable.
That machine would make my life soooo much easier... and probably help finish my quilts faster!!
