Baby B was throwing a rave in my belly this morning, and Matt just came home from his overnight shift at the hotel, so they were bonding for a minute, but he needed to sleep.
I poured myself some cheerios, but my milk says 7/27 on it... so when I started to eat it.... I got nervous... and ate a twix instead...
thank goodness for prenatals right? I might also eat a cliff bar... the sweet cravings are just outrageous.
I nested a lot last night, put the crib together, bought a few decor items for his room, bought a few outfits... I'm getting so excited to put it all together.
How is everyone doing this fine morning?
Good morning MB! I haven't had a chance to be around these parts lately, and I have missed it. I am hopped up on caffeine right now too and loving it.
Not too much going on today, hoping to maybe go to the lake later if P takes a nap so we shall see.
Has napping improved at all with Sammie?

I am so impatient! I always tell people what I get them for holidays haha. But I was really excited about Andys gift because I made him an album. I've been asking him for days if he wanted his gift and he says, "Not today, ask me tomorrow." But last night he asked me if I wanted mine and I said, "YES!!!" I mean, I was just being honest haha.
He said he wanted to try and visit all of the State Parks in PA as like something for us to do together. A goal of sorts. So I made him a "passport." I covered a 3 ring binder (in cotton!) and cut out the front and inserted a photo and a title. Then I filled it with all of the parks (125) organized by county and alphabetically. Each park has a page with the name, a spot for a photo, and lines for when we went and what we did. Then I also added a map of each park. I got this adorable recycled paper with skunks and owls and beavers and birds on them and used them for the county tabs to add a little color/fun.
He got me a pearl necklace and earring set
Wow that is such a creative gift, I would be too excited to wait too!!

Samma is still hating her naps... but we might have a system down where we just lie her down after her 10am and 2pm bottles.... it's still a work in progress. So long as she sleeps through the night, I'm not complaining...

I'm super tired today, the weather isn't helping.
I am also unhappy with the most recent twist in my book. For those reading Game of Thrones- wtf. I don't even know if I can continue on with this series.

He is doing great! Definitely keeps me busy but we are having a lot of fun. Glad you guys got a napping system into place and are working on that. He is still all over the place with naps and nighttime sleeping as well. I never knew it could be SO challenging!!

Tell me about it! I can't believe how fast the time went...
Planning is coming along slowly... I have the guestlist done, invitations have been purchased and will be mailed to family by the weekend, the FB event has been created for friends who want to come. We know where it's going to be, and I've even started an Amazon WishList for Samma because people are already asking me what she wants.... *phew!*

Yeah -- Sam LOVES dogs... I just wish Loki would let her snug with him like that. Luckily, MIL's lab will suffice.
And WW hasn't been too bad! 10.2 down as of Sunday, so I'm content...

We are doing good, thanks! I agree, summer is going way too quick. I got a little depressed thinking about it this past Sunday. We've had a busy yet fun summer. Still lots to do in August, I just know it is going to fly by!

No, I actually had to look up where Presque Isle even was. I haven't even been to Erie. The farthest north I've been in PA is Grove City, which is about and hour and a half south of Erie. I have been to Sandusky, Ohio, though....closest I've been to Erie. Guess I need to explore my state some more!!
And P.S. if you like National Historic Sites, there are a bunch within driving distance of Ohiopyle (and one of those is within 3 miles of MY HOUSE!!!) If you get the chance, check out Fallingwater, Fort Necessity, and Friendship Hill (then after Friendship Hill, you can come hang out with me!)
