Dog bed pattern?
Anyone have any good ones? I have 2 dog beds and they are well loved. I'd go buy another one but I can't find what I want and figured why not try my newly acquired sewing skills? So, I haven't even looked for one yet but of course my first place to ask was here

Re: Dog bed pattern?
I've been doing no-sew fleece beds for my pups and the cats recently. Definately not goo for chewers and we don't have them out where the dogs have access since ours are chewers, but they are really great and the dogs LOVE them.
I know McCalls has a few out there. I have a Boston who is vicious with her beds, and an Akita who wants nothing to do with dog beds. I recently made a pillow style bed for my sister's pup. I recommend using very durable fabric. I used flannel b/c she is very gentle and loving with her beds, but I notice quite a lot of wear. Also, use a zipper (really not that hard) and stuff with old sheets, towels, or clothes that are not donate-able... cheaper and will instantly smell like home.
