Orders to Ft. Lewis! Any suggestions?
Hi all! My DH just got orders to Ft. Lewis, WA. Anything you can tell me about the area, especially housing/apartments, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Shortie, I'm at Lewis. There are several Fort Lewis Wives pages on FB that are helpful as well.
As far as housing--there's not enough of it. I think they have only enough housing for 27% of troops stationed here or something like that. COL is high here and depending on where you choose to rent off post, your commute may be hell. There are some areas of Tacoma you should stay out of. We live off post now but are on the waiting list for housing on post and will be moving when our lease is up. It's just become too expensive to commute anymore. Beta #1 at 9dp5dt=153! Beta #2 at 16dp5dt= 4009!
Ultrasound 12/30 showed one beautiful heartbeat! EDD 17 August, 2012
