    The traffic is terrible there, and where will people park?  I am not thrilled with the location, but I am happy for a TJ's anywhere within an hour radius!!

    And I agree odear.  The traffic there sucks and so does parking.  What a bad choice.

    Hey now...I designed that "temporary" two way turn lane on Alabama YEARS ago...it is still working perfectly...snicker.

    I am sad if it happens because Zake is a favorite and I won't want to deal with the parking cluster.  That is why Whole Foods left that spot years ago.

    Huh...interesting spot. So are they going to move INTO the old theatre, or just the spot where the theatre is and tear it down and build a new store ( I hope they don't tear the theatre down). Also, for parking I wonder if they would build a parking garage in the back where all the open spots are, otherwise parking will suck big time. I do like me some Zake, but still miss Royal Japon.

    They are very small. It's crowded. You couldn't pay me to go on a weekend.

    I wasn't really thinking about the parking situation...yes, definitely not ideal. The location itself (inner loop as opposed to a suburb, and the vibe of the area) is a good choice.

    they're tiny.  my first stop in arizona was a TJs, and i walked in wondering where hte rest of the store was.  considering how much people talk about TJs, i was expecting central market, or the big momma WF in austin.

    Close enough to my med-center office I could make a run! But yeah, parking is crazy there. I always parked behind when I used to go to that Bookstop.
