Book Club Poll for August

Re: Book Club Poll for August

  • I started reading Game of Thrones on my own last weekend, and I've had a hard time putting it down!  Spies, mystery, political intrigue, questionable motives, large cast of well-defined characters...I can see why they made it into an HBO show!

I'll have to add that to "My List"  :-)

I voted for Henrietta because it's a really powerful story that most likely has medically impacted the life of every single person that reads this.  Maybe do one for August and the other in September?

  • We seem to be at a stalemate!  Come on people, we need at least one more vote. I like the idea of doing one for each month though.
  • Wow!  A head to head competition.  I say we go with Henrietta this month and Game of Thrones next month.  Thrones is a "tad" long, so maybe that would give us a little extra reading time (but well worth the effort, I promise!).
