I love Thursday's, especially when the week was short. I've been calorie cycling for the last 12 weeks, and Thursday was always my lowest day, so I haven't been able to have my customary Thursday wine, but I'm taking the next few weeks as a bit of a diet break, so, wine tonight! Woo!
Baseball last night was miserable. Just miserable. It rain/misted the entire time, so we were soaked, freezing, couldn't see and could barely throw. Why the didn't call the game/games is beyond me. We mercied the other team the first game 21-6 and lost the second game by 1 run. Weird.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Thursday!
Good Morning!
Today we're going to the state fair. It should be a good time, and there will be delicious food, and drink!
I also have a new dangerous addiction to zulily.com it's like ruelala but for babies/kids. I really need to stop, I could spend all of my money there easily. Unfortunately since the school year hasn't started yet I have to be careful
I'm still on my plan of soaking up every bit of summer before I have to go back to work and leave Myles at home.
I am hoping today goes really smoothly and that everyone is on their best behavior. The mom that I nanny for has finally decided that her five year old son's behavior isn't within the lines of normal, (hits, kicks, spits, head-buts, just all around disrespectful more than once a day) and has made an appointment to get him assessed. I am so happy she has finally decided to do this, not only does it validate how difficult it has been for me but, hopefully they will come up with better ways of dealing with the difficult behavior and we can turn it around before it does to much harm to the child. He is just such an angry and frustrated little guy.
Tonight I am going to the gym for a nice long work-out. My plan is to do a 5-10Km race by April.
Morning! This week is taking forever to be over. I want the weekend now, darn it. Work sucks and I feel the need to be looking for another job. My concern is that I won't be able to find one that pays as well and is as flexible as this one is, but I might be willing to give that up for less crazy.
I had a doctor's appointment this morning and it looks like we will be doing the IUI Saturday morning.
That's about it; nothing much to report.

Good morning!
Today is my fake Friday and I'm so excited. I am on call tonight, however, and I'm hoping it's uneventful.
I had my follow up eye appointment yesterday and things look better but I still can't wear contacts and have to stay on steroid eye drops.
I'm extremely near sighted and can't see much of anything without glasses. I ran 6.5 miles this morning with a really old pair of glasses that I bought clip on sunglasses for for. I will be taking the sunglasses back. It's just too disorienting with them bouncing around so I ran the last 2 miles not wearing anything and while I can't see a lot (general shapes like cars lol) it feels much better. My plan is to do my 10 miler tomorrow or Saturday without glasses or contacts.
Off to work.
Good morning, ladies
Another crappy night of sleep. I'm so frustrated - between DH snoring, my daughter leaving the light and tv on downstairs (too hot to sleep upstairs in her room), the dog coughing and licking her paw incessantly, and Cheddar wanting attention at 2am I was up at least 6 times during the night. I just want to sleep - EVERYONE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
Anyway, another busy day at work, especially if I want to leave early tomorrow.
Have a great day, everyone!
Morning ladies.
Another crazy day at work for me. I have to pack my desk up since they decided I should move cubicles - 1 aisle over. Really? Ugh. I have 10 years worth of crap to go through and get rid of, and not looking forward to it.
Tonight I will be getting ready for camping over the weekend. We have a sitter for the boys all weekend, so it will be nice to have the break and enjoy some major adult time!
Have a great day ladies!
Les Paul has your DH tried the breathe right strips? My Husband snores terribly and these have really helped. We live in a loft and it can be so horrible when it is hot out that I will sleep with ear plugs and an ipod on the couch. We live in a very open loft so it can really suck.
Good morning! I hope tonight is cooler than yesterday. It was over 100 degrees and so humid. I could barely walk in the heat much less run in it. I'm hoping today will be better.
Morning ladies. It's my fake Friday! I'm sure the day is going to drag by.
Tomorrow morning we are doing our maternity shoot, I can't wait. Then I pick my sister up at the airport. Saturday is my baby shower and my mom and other 2 sisters are driving in from Ohio so it should be a really great weekend!
Last night, we had our breast-feeding class which was pretty informative. I am glad we went but putting a bunch of pregnant women in a room with uncomfortable chairs is just mean. My back is screaming today.
Have a great day ladies!
Sweetpea - I can't believe you are 30 weeks already!
Last night I finally made it to the grocery store and made our first home cooked dinner in what seems like weeks.
Tonight we're going to the county fair to watch some of J's friends in the bull riding. I'm so looking forward to a funnel cake!
Morning, everyone. Nothing much going on over here--low key night again, nothing exciting. I'll be the downer in the group and say I'm not feeling too chipper this past week. I just feel outside of a lot of things and let down a lot in almost every aspect except home. I know it's just an adjustment period at work, but the weird thing is that I'm feeling it everywhere, including friendships. It kind of sucks.
Looking forward to the weekend, most definitely. Hope everyone has a great day.
katzsblaze-I am so jealous of you having a sitter so much I wish my inlaws were involved and would offer to babyist. I would kill for a night with DH or a dinner and movie.
Today should be nice. Jordan has a dentist appt at 3 so I will be leaving work about 1:45 to go get him and Preston. After the dentist I am thinking we will go to chick fil a and play and eat.
Chica - *hugs* Those weeks are the worst.
I hung around at home and tried figuring out recipes for the items I'm getting in my first CSA box this week.
I've been swamped at work and I'm not looking forward to a status meeting we have today. I'm ready to just say if you want it done, you do it. Or someone do something for themselves so I can do my real tasks around here.
Is it Saturday yet? We're going wine tasting and drinking heavily.
I know, it is crazy how fast the time goes!
Thanks, Kari. They're the pits, but at least they pass, right?
Enjoy the wine tasting once Saturday finally decides to roll around!
Good afternoon! I'm late to this, but thought I would pop in. I spent today at the beach with some friends from work. Two of them have toddlers, one who is two and a half and one who is almost two. So cute! I spent a day last week with the two and a half year and her mom, and when I walked in to their house today she threw herself at me for a hug and said, "Where are your dogs?" I love it!
Ed has renewed his commitment to golf, so I have been a golf widow all week. I went and walked 9 holes with him yesterday, but he has been playing every night including a Twilight League tonight, so I am on my own for dinner...but at least he is being out and active, so I am trying not to complain since he needs the exercise!
