I was finally able to shake of the congestion and runny nose from 3 weeks ago. Then I woke up Friday morning with a very sore throat and developed a cough on Saturday. It probably didn't help that I walked around Santa Monica on Saturday night in short sleeves. I was up all night Saturday hacking up a lung or two. So I woke up yesterday morning to a very hoarse voice. This morning, my voice is completely gone. Being pregnant + being sick = Not good.
Re: I lost my voice.
Oh man-I do hope that your voice finds its way back home.?
What my mom used to tell me was drink garlic tea...I know it doesn't sound very good and honestly I just rather not have my voice than drink it. Supposedly warm honey ?& ?lemon juice might help too ease the throat.
stay warm - I've had this nasty cold for awhile too with the cough and I've been putting vicks on the soles of my feet and for reason it keeps me warm and I don't cough as much-yes another thing from mom... hehehe?
Thanks ladies! I'm drinking kalamansi tea right now. I'm hoping it helps.
