Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Another 1st world "problem"...no computer :(
My computer finally died this week and not having one is making me crazy. I have my iPad which is nice, but I can't work on it and emailing is cumbersome (not a fan of the touch keyboard fr typing more than a few words at a time). Yesterday I ordered my fancy, new (refurbished) MacBook Pro and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. But when I got the order confirmation this morning, I noticed that the price was wrong and that the model looked different from what the sales guy and I had talked about. Turns out, he accidentally ordered the wrong computer for me and it has already shipped. And they can't send me another one without charging me again until the original one is returned to them unless they charge me for two. My little checking account for my graphic design business just doesn't happen to have a spare $2k laying around and while I could use money from our personal account, that could make things confusing at tax time as the computer is a business expense. So basically because the sales guy screwed up, I may have to wait other week for my computer. In the meantime, I'm already behind on one job and I had to pass up on another job altogether. The sales guy was apologizing all over himself and says that he is going to try to figure something out for me, I'm not holding my breath. Grrrrr, I'm very frustrated. Also, nesting from the iPad only works about half the time for me...not sure what I'm doing wrong but the HTML editing thing seems to be wonky.
