Healthy/Organic Food at Bulk Stores?

Hey ladies, don't know if anyone will have the answer but does anyone know if places like CostCo, BJs, or Sams Club carry organic produce or meats? We try and buy all organic, no antibiotic, and grass fed meats and it can get pricey, and we were considering a membership to a bulk store. Would they carry anything I would buy? I don't want to waste a membership if they wouldnt have items I would buy. Any knowledge on this ladies? Sarah didn't your DH used to work at a CostCo, I was thinking he might know. Thanks!

  • We love costco and spend so much there every month. I like their pre packaged apple slices and salad, they're organic. We get organic peanut butter there and we buy our ground turkey, mahi, salmon and chicken there. Not sure how much of those are organic though. I just googled and found this though:

  • You're awesome! I will have to check that site out:)

  • Yes, he's the tire supervisor, so I don't know that much, but their stuff rotates and is different at every warehouse.  I know my store does carry some of the organic stuff which is nice.  They also have a lot of fresh take home ready meals that are fabulous.  I would go to the front membership desk, say that you're interested in a membership but you've never been able to look around to see if you would shop there.  I'm sure they would let you in and look around.  You just can't buy anything without the membership card.  It's like 50 bucks a year or something and I save that just in my toiletries that I buy there.  Alcohol is always at least 3-5 bucks cheaper and they have a fabulous selection of wine there.  Not to mention getting samples while you shop.  Free meal? Yes please.  I bought my bedroom furniture set there in June and I'm ridic pleased with it.  If anything goes wrong, I can bring it back no hassle.  I also bought my couches from there.  It is SO worth it.  We have the costco amex as well that saves us big time percentage.  Also, their gas is cheaper.  They go around to several stores in the morning at 5am to log their prices and put theirs lower.  Then on top of that cheap gas, I save 2% a year?!? HELL YES.  We use them for travel too!
