We are doing a photo shoot there tonight! We are calling it a "Trash the dress" session(google it if you haven't seen them!) but it's really not because I don't want to totally ruin my dress, but did want some fun, relaxed photos that we didn't get to have from our wedding day! I think the rain is going to hold off and it should be lots of fun...I think the carnival rides/lights will make for some really cool photos!

I did my trash the dress a couple years ago but didn't really trash my dress.

It never even occurred to me to put the dress back on and get some of the shots I wish we'd gotten on the big day. I think my window of opportunity's passed on that one.

I did two TTD shoots. One 3 weeks before my wedding with a borrowed dress - we jumped in the ocean, one 3 weeks after my wedding in my own dress - we went to a park, climbed on a (docked) seaplane, on/in a sports car and in a junkyard (my favorite!). Each shoot was with a group of NH Nesties and done to add to the photographers' portfolio. I wish I could have gotten DH to do one with me!
I missed out on a chance to do another one this winter in the snow because I was 6 months pregnant...

Me too!! I plan on doing one still in the future. We scrimped on a photographer for the wedding and one of my wedding regrets is not having more/better photos, so I really want to do a TTD shoot. . I also want to do a boudoir shoot at some point with Tess...probably way after I lose this pregnancy weight!! LOL
That is a fun concept for a TTD session!
DH used to be a wedding videographer/photographer, so we used to do some posing for his old boss...some funner stuff in cheap dresses, but I still haven't done a real TTD session. I'm still hoping to get one in, though it's been 3 years since the wedding...
Definitely post pictures...I just love a really creative set of TTD photos (though, this could be because I was so sick of regular wedding photos after all those years of being surrounded by it.)
