Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

What is going on with this board?
When I click reply on the post I started below. it takes me to some computer parts website (not going to post the same & have everyone go check it out). I know you can hack websites & change the location of a link but I thought the knot/nest/bump would have seen they have been hacked & fixed it.
Is anyone else getting this?

Yeah I think this board has gotten spammed the worst.
I know there was a moderator from another board that was trying to clean up the hacked posts. But it's gotten to the point where I wont even open the post if I think it's spam.
I've been doing nightly sweeps to try and clean up the spam on ALL the national boards, particularly the redirecting spam that makes anywhere on the page clicky and sends you to the non-Nest site. I did clean up that post that you referenced.
And, this board has actually gotten spammed LESS than other national boards, especially in the redirect posts. It's just that this one isn't quite as active, so you notice more of them in one shot.
I'm sorry that you've had to deal with this. But, now we have a new admin and she's helping to delete these spammers. Hopefully this spam trend won't continue. It's a royal PITA!
